IT technician who sees the whole system
Over 1,100 machines in nine countries, each with its own Linux computer, its own modem and its own way in. You keep them running, and you do it without driving there.
Every machine is one part of a large system that is tightly connected: PLC and sensors, Linux and containers, modem and firewall, cloud and apps, and 1,100 other machines on the same network. When something stops, the fault is rarely where it first seems to be.
You are the one who finds it, and the one who makes sure the next hundred do not get the same fault. You use AI to build the tools you need along the way.
What you will work on
- The control system in the machines: the Linux computer, the services that run on it, and the PLC it talks to.
- Networking, modems, firewalls and remote access to machines in nine countries.
- Preparing and testing new machines before they leave the factory.
- Troubleshooting in operation, and fixes that keep the fault from coming back.
You fit in here if you
- are a certified IT technician, or have equivalent experience
- want to know why something works, not just that it works
- like to tidy up, document and put things in order
- think critically and creatively, and speak up when something does not add up
Why here
Many people talk about AI. Here it is how we work every day, and most of our industry has not started yet. That gives us a head start we intend to use.
Our customers trust the machine to work when nobody is there. That is what we live on, and it is why speed never comes before quality here.
We are a small team, so what you build gets used, often the same week. And what you build does not just sit on a screen. It sells gas to people at their cabin on a Saturday evening.
How we work
AI all the way through
AI is a fixed part of the working day, with shared rules for how we use it.
Tried before it reaches the customer
Every change is tested automatically and can be tried in its own environment before it goes out.
We see what is happening
We keep an eye on our machines and services around the clock.
From circuit board to cloud
We build everything ourselves, from the electronics inside the machine to the cloud services our customers use.
Made in Stryn
The machines are built on our own premises in Stryn. What you have built, you can see in use.
